WITS Committee has approved for WITS to participate in the Teloon tennis ball recycling programme endorsed by NEA Singapore, as well as the STA and Sports Singapore, commencing from the Spring season 2023.
This programme is registered with and supported by NEA Singapore (Ref ID: 211167LW) to target the collection of 100,000 old tennis balls for recycling within 12 months from 1 May 2022 for the purpose of keeping old tennis balls out of the limited Singapore Landfill and supporting the Singapore Green Plan 2030.
Teloon has issued WITS with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of our participation.
